Owners Lt. Brett Bruehler, Avon Fire Department and Lt. Dan Russell, Lorain Fire Department co-founded Revac-USA with one goal in mind, to provide our Military, Fire and Law Enforcement agencies the skills and tools needed to find another way out of a compromised structure.
With over 20 years of experience in fire service and rock climbing, both Dan and Brett offer instruction based on their training, qualifications and certifications. Dan served four and a half years in the USMC and was honorably discharged with a rank of E-5. Brett is a current member of the Lorain County SWAT team. The partners have earned a host of credentials including; Tactical Rope Trainers US Special Forces, Rock Climbing Instructors US Special Forces, Rope Recue Technician, High Angle Rope Rescue, Swift Water Rescue Technicians, Haz-Mat Operations, Critical Intensive Care Paramedic, Rescue Diver, Lorain County Co-Coordinator Rope Rescue USAR Team, General Mountaineering Schools, North Cascades Wash. St. and Teton Range, WY. General Ice Climbing Schools, Adirondacks NY.
